What this page covers

This is a personal portfolio site. It doesn't have user accounts, a backend database, or any way to submit data through a form. This policy explains the small amount of data that gets collected anyway, just by visiting the site.

Microsoft Clarity

Analytics & session recording

This site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it, things like page views, scroll depth, clicks, and anonymized session replays. Clarity may use cookies and similar technologies to collect this data and can share it with Microsoft and Microsoft Advertising to improve products and deliver relevant ads. Clarity does not knowingly collect personal information such as your name, address, or payment details.

Google Fonts

Font hosting

Typefaces (Space Grotesk, Inter, JetBrains Mono) are loaded from Google's font servers. Loading a font from Google's CDN sends your IP address and browser information to Google as part of the normal request. See Google's privacy policy.

Cloudflare

DNS & network infrastructure

This site's domain is proxied through Cloudflare, so every visit passes through Cloudflare's network before reaching the hosting provider. Cloudflare processes standard connection data (IP address, request headers, timing) to route traffic, provide DDoS protection, and handle SSL/TLS. It may set its own cookies for security and performance purposes.

What this site does not do

No account creation, login, or password storage.
No contact forms that submit data anywhere. The email link on this site opens your own email client; nothing is sent through this site's servers.
No advertising networks or third-party ad trackers embedded directly on this site.
No sale of data, because no data is collected here to sell.

Outbound links

Several parts of this site link out to other services: GitHub, LinkedIn, Credly, and Hack The Box. Clicking those links takes you to a separate site with its own privacy policy. This policy only covers jardinesecurity.com itself.

Cookies

Clarity may set cookies to distinguish sessions and recognize repeat visits, and Cloudflare may set its own cookies for security checks and performance. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; the site will keep working normally without them.
